Brent Stanfield


Brent joined the Christ Community Church family in 2013. Brent and his wife Jessica are native Nebraskans but have lived in The Woodlands since 2005. Brent and Jessica are blessed by their two children Julianne and McCoy. Brent receives his bachelor’s degree in economics and his juris doctor from the University of Nebraska. Upon moving to The Woodlands, Brent served for 7 years as an attorney with Knighton & Stone where he was the firm’s chief trial attorney. Brent and Jessica have demonstrated a passion for church planting and the spread of the Gospel through their service at Woodlands Point Community Church in The Woodlands. Brent served on the initial Lead Team for Woodlands Point when it was formed in 2008. Brent also crafted the church’s bylaws, served on the equipping team, the children’s ministry [KidsPoint], and the set-up team. Brent and Jessica have also lead a community group for more than 5 years. Brent has a passion for teaching the Scriptures and apologetics. Brent has developed curriculum and teaches classes on theology, Bible study methods, "The Gospel in Genesis", and a general overview of Scripture.

Brent is Christ Community Church’s executive pastor where his experience as a practicing attorney and as an entrepreneur can be used to help operate and administer the church. Brent’s experience with church planting also gives him great perspective on the special challenges church planters face. Brent and Jessica also have deep roots in The Woodlands/Magnolia area and have a great desire to see good Gospel centered churches raised up as the community continues to grow and expand.
