Life on Mission

Join us as we take the Gospel to all parts of the world.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age…. you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

 - Matthew 28:18-20 & Acts 1:6-8

We have been given a mission.  God has saved us through Jesus Christ. He has commanded us to go into all the world and make disciples as we go along our way.  The life of the Christian is to live out this mission. Our mission starts at home, in our own community, continues out into our nation, and ends when the Gospel has been taken to all parts of the earth.

A Partner in Our Community

Under Over Fellowship is a church in Conroe, Texas. The purpose of Under Over Fellowship is to be a church where REAL PEOPLE, black, white, brown, young, old, rich, poor, college educated or those educated at the school of hard knocks can come in contact with a REAL GOD through salvation, worship, discipleship, ministry and giving.

Under Over Fellowship gives special attention to serving the poor and homeless in Conroe, Texas.  The ministry is designed to provide essential services to the poor and homeless and to offer them the ability to get off the streets, earn a living, become self sustaining, and become disciples of Jesus Christ.  Christ Community Church is partnering with Under Over Fellowship in this mission.

Under Over Fellowship provides homeless men and women an opportunity to get off the streets and live onsite at either Under Over Mission [Men's Dormitory] or Christy's House [Women's Home].  In addition, Under Over Fellowship helps the homeless become self sustaining through its cross making business; the proceeds of which go to the men and women who stay at the Mission and/or Christy's house to help them get off the streets.

A Partner in Our Nation

We are a church that plants churches.  God commands his people to go and make disciples.  We believe that this command is best carried out through the local church.  It is our desire to identify, equip, and send men and women with a heart to plant churches that will honor God by preaching the Gospel.  We have planted and/or sponsor five churches throughout Texas.  By supporting Christ Community Church you are supporting church planting locally, around the state, country, and world.

We have planted:

Restoration Church Bryan - C3 commissioned Pastor Jonathan Brooks and his wife Stephani in 2013 to plant a church in Bryan, Texas.  The Brooks moved to Bryan to start an urban church committed to bringing restoration to downtown Bryan.  Restoration Church held its first services in January of 2014 and continues to grow.  C3 continues to support Restoration Church through monthly financial support and administrative support.

Creekside Community Church - C3 commissioned Pastor Josh Owen and his wife Kelly in 2014 to plant a church in San Marcos, Texas.  The Owens moved to San Marcos in June of 2014 and are in the process of gathering a core team.  The Owens hope to begin holding services in 2015.  C3 supports Creekside Community Church through monthly financial support and administrative support.
